The accumulated sludge on the pond bottom apart from producing toxic gases also harbors and potentiates the proliferation of the harmful pathogenic bacteria. These pathogenic bacteria are the prime agents for the prawn diseases.
Hence along with the feed and feed management, the maintanence of the pond environment is highly essential for a successful shrimp forming.
Composition: Rhodococcus, Rhodobacter, Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter, Thiobacillus Thiooxidans, and Purple Sulpher Bacteria.
